The right-wing loves to wallow in Clinton. Nearly 4 years after he left office, they’re still using him to raise money:
Bob Beckel, Democratic strategist, made an interesting point on Hannity & Colmes saying that for the Republican fundraisers, ” Clinton is the gift that keeps on givin ” 7/2/04 9:21 PM ET
Colmes and North were wondering where the rumor of Hillary running for Vice President was originating. Beckel claimed that just suggesting the possibility of another Clinton in office can bring in massive amounts of money to the Bush Campaign.
Keeping the negative Clinton image alive as a fundraising tool for republicans was in evidence last night on Hannity & Colmes. Six teases showed a man with blurred face with this text.
“Guess who showed up at Clinton’s book signing today. You’ll never guess and he’s a convicted felon too.”
When it finally aired at 9:56, the mystery felon was an ex Illinois Congressman, who Clinton had pardoned. The clip showed him standing in line waiting for an autograph.
Wonder how much that was worth to the Bush Campaign?
