AMC — American Movie Classics — is now billing itself as “TV for movie people.”
Considering that they edit films shamelessly, liberally throw commercials into odd places, crop the picture to 4×3 (and never give the standard disclaimer about cropping), and speed up the end credits so that they’re moving so fast it’s a blur, I’d suggest a different motto for them:
“Movies for TV people.”
