I’m tired of spam. I get tons at work. I get tons at home. My blog is constantly attacked by it. Hell, there’s even spam on my cell phone and satellite television is filled with questionable ads for weight loss gimmicks, herbal remedies, and “government-authorized” coins made from World Trade Center silver.
I’m fed up with it.
I’m thinking of a) turning off my e-mail, b) ripping down my blog, c) canceling my mobile phone.
I have more communication connections than you could shake a stick at. Telephone – 800 number – mobile phone – several e-mail addresses – a whole suite of websites. And yet, almost no one ever communicates with me other than spammers. Why am I paying for all of this?
Maybe I should be harder to communicate with. Literally speaking, not figuratively.
