I’m not sure if letting the internet at large run one’s political campaign is such a smart idea. Sure, it’s a novel approach and a very ‘power to the people’ type of thing to do…but over and over, Americans have proven themselves to be idiotic and bad judges of character. How else can you explain the popularity of reality television? What else can explain the meteroic rise to the top of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and boy bands? There’s something in the water and it does not compute.
So, Jeff Seeman, when the internet folks command you to dance in a chicken costume outside of a Buick dealership in some podunk Ohio town, you’ll have to let us know how firing your campaign manager went.
This campaign season is truly ludicrous.
