Dish Network may have expended little energy in maintaining my goodwill while I was a subscriber; but this morning they certainly did my best to keep me from canceling my service! Every time I said cancel they offered another free month of service. I’ve already paid for about 110 months of service, and now they’re offering a free month?
I’m a dream customer, aren’t I? They sold me $2000 worth of equipment and about $5000 worth of service… and their response is to offer me $100 worth of free service. Sweet deal!
Have you ever sat down and done the math on such items as your phone or cable bill? Add up a year’s worth of your bills, then imagine that the company has 100,000 customers. Do a bit of multiplication. When you do, you suddenly realize how those companies became so big and rich.
