Apple uses one of those voice recognition call attendants, so when I called today to complain about the problems with my MacBook Pro, I only got as far as the part where the guy asks what product I am calling about. Seems that the MacBook is so new, they don’t have it in the voice recognition system.

Just keep hitting “0” and/or saying ‘operator’ I have to do it with Xerox. There was a great story about this on Morning Edition a few weeks ago about bypassing those voice systems. I hate them; I have a low voice and they never understand me.
