LOVE this new logo for Science Channel. Immediately, at first glance, it says Science!
But this one… hmm. I can only assume the brief was “make a logo as it would be perceived by an animal who can’t read.”
I swear, every time I look at it, I think it reads “Anal Planet.”
Agreed. I find that sideways M baffling. It’s not doing anything for me.
By the way, do you read the Brand New blog? Cool site to geek out on logos. I think that’s where I first saw the new Science Channel one.

I like the science channel one too, but the ANIZAL PLANET has to go. That’s what it looks like to me–ANIZAL.
It sounds like some crazy world where all the inhabitants are hooked on ANIZAL, the new drug all the cool aliens are talking about. Hahahaha!
