Well, it’s fun to speculate that this was deliberate, but it’s pretty clear to me that it was an accident – the promo jumps in right at the point where Fox takes the network bug off the screen so that local stations can substitute their bug. Someone cued the wrong thing up or pressed the wrong button. (Besides, if they wanted to censor it, they just wouldn’t have shown the entire program. There’s plenty of precedence for that.)
