Just As I Thought

I’m just glad someone else noticed

You know, I often scratch my head and wonder — wasn’t Law and Order on last night? USA Today notes:

If you’re starting to feel you’ve been watching a show called Law & Order: CSI, don’t worry. It’s not you. It’s your TV.

During the 22 hours of prime time this week, NBC is presenting six hours of Dick Wolf’s three Law & Order series: the original,Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent; CBS has eight hours of law-enforcement drama from its four Jerry Bruckheimer shows: CSI, CSI: Miami, Without a Traceand Cold Case.

For fully half of prime time’s weekly real estate — 11 hours — viewers tuning in will be able to find a show from one of TV’s two top crime bosses.

L&O and CSI aren’t stopping yet. Prospects for a fourth Law & Order are good, Zucker says, and there’s talk at CBS of another version of CSI, maybe New York.

  • I hate to name drop (oh, who am I kidding) but I’m glad that Angie Harmon left the L&O before it got so crazy. She and her husband, Jason Sehorn of the St. Louis Rams are frequent shoppers at my store. We get our fair share of famous people and most, understadibly, keep to themselves. However these two almost seem to make it a point to be friendly and out going with all of my crew.
That’s a nice thing to see and helps to kinda brighten the day around us.
Now if we could just get Jerry Orback in from time to time…
