And I thought MIcrosoft was intrusive! Tonight at my weekly CERT class (Disaster Medical Operations 2 this evening) the instructors used PowerPoint slides as part of the class. But when they left the PC sitting for too long without interaction, a series of REALLY annoying ads for HP scrolled onto the screen. I can only assume that they had installed some kind of HP software and this was a side effect.
I haven’t yet had any of this happen on my Mac… but I can tell you, if it did I would rip that HP scanner off my computer and never buy another HP product as long as I live. I’m mean that way.
