Just As I Thought

I am disgusted

I am just disgusted. That seems to be my permanent mood when discussing the 206 right wing ass*oles (and 27 bastardly Democrats) in Congress (and beyond).
In their latest fascist, bigoted, intolerant, and plainly illegal bid to disenfranchise gay Americans, the nutcases in the House of Representatives has passed an act that would actually strip the judicial branch of its power to judge the constitutionality of laws.
Euphemistically called “The Marriage Protection Act”, it basically says that courts may not strike down laws banning same-sex marriage.
This is simply astounding to me.
And what may be more astounding is the lack of outcry everywhere I turn.
These people are raping our system of government in the name of discrimination and curtailing freedom.
This is not America, folks. These people are not protecting anything other than their own bigotry.
I am disgusted.

  • No public outcry? It’s because the law is a joke. It’s another attempt by the Reps to prove how they’re doing something about the Homosexual Marriage Crisis without actually doing anything.

The first time someone tries to enforce that law, it’s going to get tossed out as unconstitutional.

So it’s just another instance of the Reps words not matching their deeds.

Just remember. When a Republican says, “I support family values,” what he really means is, “Vote for a lying hypocrite.”
