So, there I am, sitting in front of my house yakking on the phone about my crappy day, when I hear this strange sound — a rumble, sort of like a helicopter, but not as sharp.

Aside from the Mexican rice my grandmother would make, I've only ever had instant rice at home. Eh, what's the difference? Boil some water, throw some rice in, and voila.
I do listen to your radio 2 sometimes. And I’ve been trying to figure out to make my own station too!
Since I host my own websites, I’ve been using the free Quicktime Streaming Server software from Apple (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qtss/). It’s running in the background on my G5 at home; with a couple backups running on my main webserver in California and on my Mac at my office. It’s very easy to use, and has versions for Mac OS and Linux.
