I’ve resisted the call of the podcast, noting that it caught on so quickly that I didn’t have time to be an early adopter — and if I can’t be fast, I don’t wanna do it at all. So there.
In fact, I did do podcasts of a sort a long time ago, back when Audblog was a flash in the pan.
Anyway, now podcasts seem to be becoming ubiquitous and will soon be corporate and laden with marketing. They’re everywhere, and that explains why it’s possible that there is actually a podcast out there about me.
Scott Mindeaux tells the story of how we met back in 1992 (or was it 91?). He leaves out mean stories about me, opting for a bittersweet remembrance instead of a catty bitch session. Not that there’s that much to be bitchy about, I’m a nice guy who sometimes can be a real pain in the ass.
Anyway, here it is.
I don’t have the motivation or stamina to do a podcast every day or every week, but I might do a little multimedia fun stuff every so often. Maybe.
[Oops… the “audio” directory in which resided my audio blogs has been lost, evidently in one of the server moves that have characterized the life of this website. If there weren’t so many links in these sites, I’d take some time to fix the broken ones… but hey, who has the time to check thousands of links?]
