You know, I love Ellen DeGeneres. I think she’s funny, friendly, and probably a joy to be around. The same goes for her talk show — at least, until now.
Her 4th season debuted this week, with guest Justin Timberlake.
Tuesday featured Beyonce.
Today is Kevin Federline.
Why has this show suddenly started courting the high school demographic? Is it because the show is now on at 4pm, and they’re trying to wrest the hip-hop lovin’ 16 year old girls away from Oprah?
I usually TiVo Ellen and watch it later. So far this season, I’ve deleted them without watching because of the guest list. I know, 40-year-old work-at-home gay men are probably not the target audience for the show (although, they certainly are a large part of it). But I can’t believe that the usual daytime audience of moms at home are all that interested in hearing about Kevin Federline’s trailer trash story of getting his trailer trash wife pregnant again.
I was thinking the same thing… but then I figured it’s only been a few days of this so let’s just all relax and see what happens in the near future.
David Duchonvy and Nathan Lane will be back before you know it.
Who’s Kevin Federline?
I heard the name Beyonce but can’t put a face to it?
And the only reason I know Justin is because of the Super Bowl Janet Jackson titillating moment so I suspect he’s a singer but I can’t name even one song of his.
Come to think of it I’ve never seen then Ellen show but at least I know who she is.
Ironic that Tim WHO would ask those questions…
