Finally, something sensible from Newt.
Newt Gingrich promised today that, if elected President, he would make sure that we had a permanent base on the moon by the end of his second term. Would he build his Presidential library there? It might make it easier for the rest of us to banish the memory of everything else that would have happened in those eight years. Perhaps he will make a post-Presidential career out of homesteading up there—an extraterrestrial Habitat for Humanity.
