1. What drinking water do you prefer — tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Since I spent more than $2,000 on a new, stylish, stainless steel refrigerator, I tend to drink the water that issues forth from it’s in-the-door filtered water dispenser. I usually have a dozen bottles of water in the fridge, and fill them back up again from the dispenser. Kind of a waste of time, as I could just fill a glass with water and ice whenever I want, but…
2. What are your favorite flavor of chips?
Tostitos tortilla chips “with a hint of lime.” Love ’em. Wish they had more than a “hint” of lime – my favorite part is when you find one chip that has an extra helping of that lime coating it. Yum.
3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
For dinner, I think Beef Stroganoff. For dessert, lemon meringue pie on those rare occasions when I manage to get it just right and the filling doesn’t turn to liquid. Yum.
4. How do you have your eggs?
Over easy. The whites have to be completely cooked or it’s icky. I like them with far too much pepper. Yum.
5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
It’s been a very long time since someone cooked me a meal, per se. I did stop by my dad’s house last Sunday and he had made tacos, so I partook. Yum. Other than that sort of thing, I simply can’t remember the last time someone cooked a meal for me, specifically. Here I thought this was going to be a fun Friday Five, and instead it turned into yet another reminder of loneliness. No, WAIT! My neighbor Danielle baked me a great lemon cake for my birthday back in August. Yum! Not a meal, really, but it was awfully nice of her.
Those “hint of lime” chips are by far my favorite as well, and I got my mom hooked on them last summer, too, when I was staying with her in Richmond a few weeks while Dad was hospitalized there.
I really have to avoid having them in the house, because otherwise I practically inhale them.
