Nearly a year ago, I complained about fax machines calling me constantly. I couldn’t figure out who was calling, assuming that it was a broadcast fax. I finally sent a fax through to one of the numbers, begging them to stop, and soon after it did.
Then, it started up again. And stopped. And started.
For the last year, I’ve been getting the calls on and off, every few months. Today, they started again, from three different numbers: (202) 387-3468, (202) 387-4253, and (202) 588-8599.
Hallelujah! Unlike the times before, the Caller ID registered a name — possibly because there is a new rule in place requiring organizations to deliver Caller ID information.
