The Giant Food store, now located in it’s own building in Bailey’s Crossroads, used to be on the other side of the street where the big Chinese restaurant is. Before it was a Chinese restaurant, it was a “supper club” called The Place Where Louie Dwells, which, as a kid, always seemed a little creepy to me. It was on Jefferson Street in Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia. I think the Chinese place is still there, but I haven’t been there in a few years since I moved to California…
