I’ve been in California for a full year now, but I haven’t taken advantage of it — I kept thinking when I moved here that I’d be running around to all the things to see, the mountains and beaches and whatnot. I’ve been to Santa Cruz a few times, gone up to San Francisco once or twice, but overall I haven’t taken in California. Mostly because I have no one to do it with.
I just hate doing things by myself. And I’m dying to find someone to go to Disneyland with me. And by way of heavyhanded segue, here’s a new reason to visit the Magic Kingdom: Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack is now in residence at Pirates of the Caribbean! (Not be confused with John Barrowman’s Captain Jack, of course.)
Add to this the new, creepy bride in the Haunted Mansion’s attic, and I’m ready to buy my two-day pass.
